Spring is here!

It's so nice outside today! Art history test is over and I'm home free through spring break, then just a month left of school. Can't wait for summer time, I have changed my ways of thinking this semester and I can't stop thinking  of all the possibilities. Until then however my friends and I are going to enjoy this weather. Photos to come later. Enjoy the weather!

Need to keep up

I haven't been keeping up with the blog post to photo taking ratio. This last week staying motivated has been troublesome, however spring break is in less then a week and I'll be home free for the semester. Here are a few from my last couple of outings, hope everyone enjoys. 

Des Moines, IA Saylor Skatepark

Two of my friends and I drove tree hours yesterday to ride and shoot some photos, got a lot of awesome stuff, can't wait to make some prints. Anyway I've been trying to more aggressively pursue my photography lately. I'm wanting to take more photos more often, and build up my portfolio. After all practice makes perfect! Well maybe not perfect, but it can't hurt at all.

Been Busy

Been busy this last week, i was sick for a whole week, so i've been trying to catch up on my studio work this week! My friends and I are making a trip down to Joplin, MO tomorrow to ride our little kid bikes and the indoor skatepark there. I'm hoping to get some awesome photos while we are there.

New portraits from today

got to the studio today not really knowing what I wanted to do. Decided not use regular flashes for these like normal, and i tried using some of the shop lights we have in the room. I also found some Christmas lights in the back to use. I like these for not really having a plan. I will probably use one of them for a future project.

New to this blog thing

Thought I'd give this a try. Went out and took some pictures today, it was very cold. I will develope and post a few later today, until then here is one from last semester.

The idea behind these is that Google has become the 21st century library. When we need information about anything now we can get on our computers or even our phones at a moments notice to find what we need.
